Buyer beware this is not cbt but a dimsum approach of mc mindfulness and half of cbt principles. If you want real cbt look for albert ellis, aaron beck, christina padesky just to name a few authors.

This is a sloppily written book. The author misquotes Thoreau, whom he misnames Theroux. The he tells us that “Time’s healing ability comes from the law of entropy.” That’s nonsense written by someone who has no idea of the meaning of the word entropy or what the Second Law of Thermodynamics actually says. When I reached that point I gave up any hope the book would be worthwhile. You can’t just toss crap before the public and expect to get away with it.

This book is a poorly written treatise on Buddhist philosophy. It contains very little science. There are really good CBT books available. Lawrence should keep his religion to himself and simply present the dynamically powerful principles of CBT.
